本片全部采用高清电影胶片摄制，由「天线宝宝」原班团队倾力打造，制作人安伍德Ann Wood再度如「天线宝宝」一般，在英国开辟出一片美丽的花园，园中是精心设计的人偶及高技术的动画呈现。幼儿观众很容易就会被色彩鲜艳的花园、逼真的动画，和逗趣的人物吸引。 与一般幼儿节目不同，「花园宝宝」的特色是完全看不出要「教」幼儿什么东西，而是给1到5岁的幼儿一段好奇探索的欢乐时光。 花园宝宝-角色介绍 剧中人物形象玩偶依古·比古：蓝色的依古·比古长得像泰迪熊，他是花园的访客，夜晚会回到他的小船上。他总是拖着一条红色的毯子，受惊吓时会突然躺平。唔西·迪西是他在花园里最好的朋友。 人见人爱的玩偶依古·比古活泼好动精力充沛，不停蹦蹦跳跳。他既好奇又爱冒险，不过也很谦虚。有时他也需要鼓励及安慰，靠的就是他那张写了「别担心，依古·比古」的毯子。“对，我叫依古·比古”，...任何惊奇都会让他兴奋得不得了，让他乐弯了腰！不过他会很快打直身体，然后又开始笑弯腰。 唔西·迪西：绑着五彩辫子的唔西·迪西，长得像是一个布娃娃。她开心的时候，五彩辫子就会往上翘。唔西·迪西的床是有生命的，会在花园里自由移动，所以睡觉之前，她必须抓住床别让它跑走了。唔西·迪西很喜欢唱歌，她有一只橘色的站立麦克风。她是个开朗乐观的洋娃娃，并且很有自信，情感流露，最喜欢在整个花园里跳舞。她和依古·比古是最要好的朋友，几乎就像亲手足一样。 玛卡·巴卡：玛卡·巴卡长得比依古·比古还圆滚滚，他住在小小的洞穴里，睡在石床上。玛卡·巴卡总是推着可爱的小推车，在花园绕来绕去。推车里有海绵、肥皂和红色的喇叭。他最喜欢清洁整理，像是花园的守护者。 玛卡·巴卡最喜欢收集和清洗小石头。他也爱帮别的玩具清洗吹干脸。玛卡·巴卡睡在他的小洞穴，小小的石头床铺上色彩缤纷的寝具。玛卡·巴卡上床睡觉的时候，总是要带着他最喜欢的那颗石头。 汤姆布利柏：汤姆布利柏是穿着圆点点和长条纹衣服的娃娃，他们分别是汤姆布利柏·安、汤姆布利柏·哦、汤姆布利柏·咦，三个宝宝睡在树丛中的同一张床上。他们出现时总是念着自己的名字，喜欢打鼓与弹琴，还有睡前一定会记得刷牙。他们总是凑在一堆，很少单独行动，而且他们的裤子常常突然掉下来。他们在树丛里的时候，不是在弹钢琴、打鼓，就是在迭砖块，或者把砖块分类。安安的衣服是红色和绿色的。哦哦的衣服是棕色和粉红色的，咦咦的衣服是粉红色和黄色的。 小点点：小点点是一个十人的大家族，他们的房子建在树脚下。他们身穿红色衣服，睡在同一个房间里。小点点爸爸留着胡子，而且他的胡子常会自己飞走，飞到小点点妈妈的脸上。小点点妈妈脖子上戴着望远镜，用来找失踪的孩子们。小点点们可以从烟囱飞进他们的家，小点点爸爸跟小点点妈妈有八个孩子，四个男生，四个女生，他们常常找不到自己的孩子，还好小朋友都会自己平安回家。小点点的邻居是另一个十人家族--小豆豆。 小豆豆：他们是住在小点点隔壁的十人家族，看起来跟小点点一模一样，但是小豆豆的衣服是蓝色滚红边的，小点点穿的衣服是红色的！小豆豆总是跟小点点家族打招呼。 哈呼呼：哈呼呼是五个超大的枕头造型角色，在花园里悠闲漫步。他们安静又温柔，不过却大得可以挡住玛卡·巴卡的路-----这可不简单呢!他们叠起来一起睡觉的时候，会互相吆喝。 飞飞鱼：飞飞鱼是一种飞艇，身上点缀着许多飞翼和大大的落地灯。花园宝宝们搭这种飞艇旅行时，可以俯瞰花园的美妙风景。飞飞鱼鼻子上的灯，在起飞时会慢慢闪绿灯，着陆时慢慢闪红灯。里头的灯也会在起飞和登陆时闪烁。飞艇的门要开的时候，门上的灯会轮流闪烁，门关起来的时候灯就熄了。 叮叮车：是个有点滑稽的火车，由大小形状不同的车厢组成。 叮叮车会摇摇晃晃穿过篱笆，使尽吃奶力气在树干爬上爬下，有时候甚至还头上脚下在树枝间穿梭！玩具们得好好扣紧座位安全带！ 花园宝宝-登陆中国 英国广播公司在与中国中央电视台协商后已决定将全部100集投放中国市场，于2009年下半年在央视播出。同期还将有DVD光碟、剧中人物玩偶等一并上市热销。 据悉，在中国播放的《花园宝宝》将全部是汉语普通话配音，方便中国儿童收看。

A special follow-up to the programme that broadcast exclusive access to the research into the remains of Richard III found underneath a Leicester car park. The research confirmed that the remains were his, and helped build a picture of what he looked like. Using unseen footage of the dig and tests, and fresh interviews with the lead scientists, this programme reveals multiple new dimensions to the hunt for England's long-lost king. The project involved dozens of specialists, in the fields of archaeology, osteology, history, forensic pathology, genealogy and DNA analysis. The programme pieces together the critical steps in the archaeological excavation, explaining how the Greyfriars Church was uncovered and detailing the painstaking exhumation of Richard's grave from the first indications of human remains to the exposure of the body's twisted spine. In the university's labs, the programme follows the scientists as they examine the skeleton to unlock the lost king's story, revealing its clues to his diet and social status, and to the diseases he endured. The film reveals how the DNA match with Richard III was made. Perhaps the most harrowing stage of the project was the minute forensic examination of the cause of death. Piecing together CT scans and microscopic analysis, the team identified the major injuries that Richard suffered in the last moments of his life and shortly afterwards.

Following the course of the Niger river, Dimbleby finds not a continent of beggars but of industrious people, some of whom go to extraordinary lengths to make a living, free-diving 20 feet to excavate building sand. Travelling north-east, he sees how tradition is preserved in an area where a sophisticated urban society has thrived for 1600 years. Jonathan gets his hands dirty as the apprentice of a 74-year-old mud mason in Djenne, a town built entirely of mud.
